I’m a children’s book author and illustrator and I love creating playful characters, and stories that make people smile. Born to Polish parents, raised in South Africa, and having lived across the globe, I carry pieces of many cultures with me. My journey has made me passionate about weaving diversity, belonging, and connection into my art. I’ve always believed that stories are bridges and my art is all about building them.

I especially love drawing animals doing very un-animal things (like whales eating spaghetti or bears going to the dentist) and creating characters that reflect the rich diversity of people everywhere, because underneath it all, we’re more alike than we are different.

I enjoy working in mixed media, though most of my illustrations are created digitally, with plenty of colour, texture, and a traditional feel. Alongside my art, I also run storytelling workshops. And when I’m not drawing, you’ll often find me outdoors enjoying nature or befriending a neighbourhood cat.

My mission is to bring people together through the magic of illustration and storytelling.
